The Canadian Cancer Action Network is grounded in the belief that the patient perspective must be clearly articulated at every opportunity in order to achieve necessary and sustainable changes to the pan-Canadian cancer landscape.
In dialogue with our many stakeholders, we continuously reinforce the need to engage cancer patients in all areas of the evolving national cancer control strategy.
We believe that when patients speak to the need for a more equitable and responsive system to emerge for Canadians – others listen! As CCAN applauds the work taking place in areas ranging from screening to primary prevention to patient-centered care and beyond, we are enormously pleased that patient voice representatives are active participants and in some case, leaders!
